I just got back from my daily walk! I couldn’t really be bothered today so I didn’t walk very fast, but at least I still did it!!!!

Hi @Oaktree , thanks for tagging me here- I'm a huge fan of walking too, sometimes I have to force myself out the door, but I'm always glad I've gone. 

 

I also noticed that it's almost a year since you started this thread- I think that is worth celebrating!!! What's your favourite thing about walking? I

 

think my favourite thing about walks is noticing the little changes on my normal routes as the seasons change- Magnolias will be starting to bloom soon, which always makes me happy!

Hi @Former-Member welcome to the thread! I always have to force myself out the door as I am really overweight and unfit! Walking is not easy for me but I am usually feeling happy that I went afterwards. I have quite a few nice walks close to me. I can walk through the park or I can drive a short distance and walk on the path next to the ocean. I am very lucky here.

 

Has it really been almost a year since I first started this thread? I abandoned it almost immediately last year. Hopefully this time I can keep up the momentum. I have some nice forumites joining me on this walking journey!

.. I walked on my day off again @Oaktree lol 'marched' 6mins up steep incline carry 15kg of beer in backpack and shopping bags in hands lol . Ok its not healthfood but at least I got some exercise instead of driving there guess

I had a rest day yesterday but walked today. Was glad of coat and woolly scarf.

Well done regarding the walk with weights @TAB. You are doing great.

 

@Former-Member I like to think that you are in your pre-contemplation phase of walking. You will get there when the time is right!
