Dunno @TAB but I thought there was a connection... years back I was on a thyroid med and I knew someone with Hashimoto's. Are your hormone levels OK now?
I had a bulk billing dietician on a care plan for a while. It helped. Maybe you could raise it with your GP when you're asking about the meds.

I joined a gym this morning. My support service have a special deal so it only costs $10 per fortnight. The small print is that I can only attend during staffed hours. I am going yo start with 3 times a week. Today I did 22 minutes on the treadmill. Played on the elliptical and the stepper but those were really quite hard. Going back tomorrow morning. Thinking of going first thing Friday, Saturday and Monday’s. My friend goes at those times so we can push each other along a bit.

Wouldn't be easy with underlying medical issues and other stuff @TAB . Don't be disheartened, this gp might be better.

Wow @Oaktree well done!!! And it's great you're going with a friend.
Sometimes when you're starting you can get a free program and introduction to the machines.

Good on ya Oaktree!
I’ve been walking before starting work lately. Sometimes when I arrive home from work I’ll tell myself excuses such as I’m too tired, I had a bad day at work etc
So this has helped lately. I often listen to podcasts as well, there’s so many cool topics and hobbies to listen about and it can take your mind off the actual walk.
There’s times though where I prefer not to have headphones on and listen to nature. Just depends on how I’m feeling on the day.

@P0larBear @TAB @Dimity @Shaz51 @SmilingGecko
Hey guys, I went to the gym today and walked on the treadmill for a good amount of time and then did a short standing weights routine off Youtube with 1kg weights. Just starting out slowly.

Keep it up @Oaktree you're doing well
I walked to the pharmacy and back then later pushed myself to do my exercises. I hope it gets easier.
