@Former-Member @TAB @Dimity @hanami @NatureLover
Ok so I ran out of time today because I had an appointment mid afternoon so sweeping and mopping didn’t happen. Have a hospital Christmas party tomorrow so I will try and get it done on Thursday. I want to get an appraisal done on our house but there is so much cleaning and tidying up to do before I can even think about that. Also might have to throw grass seed around the yard and actually apply water. The grass has pretty much died because we stopped watering it years ago because of water restrictions in our state. The 3x1 across the road just sold for 540k! We won’t get that for ours as it will be a renovators delight. Come in as is condition.

Hi @Oaktree our posts crossed.
It still might be worth getting an appraisal as they could advise on what's worth fixing to get a better price.

Hi guys,
Hubby is out of the way for the afternoon so I am going to put some music on and hit the housework. Need to move stuff so I can sweep and mop. Might also tidy up the bedroom and vacuum but we’ll see how it goes.
Wish me luck,
Meggle

Hello @Oaktree I've been at it all day. My laundry is clean, the fridge has been emptied, the garbage taken out, ordered my produce, had a meat delivered, checked out some astrology, still behind schedule. Got to pick up a script now then put meat in freezer. Squeeze in watching a podcast tonight

Well done @Former-Member , you are kicking it out of the park! You are doing amazing the last few days.
Thanks @hanami
So far I have moved stuff off the floor, picked ip the washing off my bedroom floor. Put on a load of laundry and stacked the dishwasher. Need more dishes before I can run it. It’s amazing that the housework you put off really doesn’t take long once you get into it. It was a great idea to put on music. I just searched pop mix on spotify and am playing the 2000-2023 mix that first came up. Music distracts from the boring jobs and you find yourself dance cleaning.

I am feeling even more energetic @Oaktree after healing my mitochondria, the energy centres of the body. I'm quite active nowadays compared to what I used to be. I am enjoying the rush of energy and having a sense of accomplishment with housework. YAY! Go us! Just cleaned the mini oven, that will be about all for today. Got to go and pick up a script from the doctor now.

When my father was alive we used to do tag team ironing @Oaktree. My father was very domesticated. He changed nappies, cooked, cleaned, did laundry plus handyman jobs. He walked a very fine line back in those days as men typically did nothing around the house. I really miss my dad 💔
