@Jynx and @Former-Member I agree with both of you. It’s very likely a serviceable behaviour for me to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Storing energy required for opportunities or unpredictable outcomes.
Yes absolutely based on past trauma events but that’s life.
Also my subconscious running inventory and running program updates. I have learned a LOT of valuable positive mental health and relationship skills over 10 months.
There are so many factors that culminate in something that happens by coincidence.
Thank you both I appreciate the time and thought that you have given to me. I am very grateful and fortunate for what you have done. G

OMG this so much this!! You have defenses (survival instincts) which are your boundaries and confidence, identity, self respect / self preservation. Narcs break them down so they have control over you. Plus all predators foster a dependency in their victims, so you feel that you cannot leave.
Yeah, an abusive husbands beats his wife but does not go to work the next day to beat his boss. It is a choice. They can control themselves.
That is what happened to me. It escalates over time
Preach!
I went thru this, it is called post separation abuse:

@tyme depends if the circus is hidden behind a fake facade.
1870 neoclassical-style architecture had faux marble columns. Beautifully hand-painted veined faux marble made of wood and plaster adorned some of the most austere houses.
Open the front door walk in and it’s a bloody circus 🎪 complete with clown 🤡
No one prepares you for that :pile_of_poo:
If you follow my metaphors

Yes I follow the metaphors loud and clear 🙂 @Glisten
Totally agree.
I actually chatted to someone last night who was complaining about EVERYTHING. Complaining about people, groups, etc... In the end, it was down to "Just do what you need to and leave".... I guess, in life, there are times when we just need to do what's right and leave the rest to sort itself out.
Don't go sniffing out for poo, jump into it and then complaining about it. It's your own fault.
