I do understand how exhausting trying to be strong is snd also pretending to be ok. I do this so often. It's mentally draining.

Yes, I'm sure the same happened to me in regards to twisted brain stuff. I actually didn't speak into I was three, so I was put through all sorts of pyschological testing and other things. I was deemed to be of average intelligence, just delayed milestones.
Tommorow at my foster family outing I will smile, say I'm fine, I'm doing well or whatever while inside I will crumble a little more at the lack of understanding this family has of complex mh issues. And my heart will weep for the tears that can't flow. I don't have to go, but at the same time it's expected of me.
