Hi @tyme
Its kinda wierd but was on a high after finding out I got the job and for some wierd reason have been feeling really low these past few days. Doesnt make sense, I am looking forward to starting but can't shake this low feeling. I put it down to all the injections I just had for the on-boarding process mmmmmm.................Asgard

Hi @Asgard I just wanted to pop by and say that I related to this feeling. I've noticed it a few times more recently when going through periods of positive change in my life, I find myself going through periods of feeling flat, or of not always feeling like I "should" or like I expected to.
It helped me to remind myself that change is hard, even good change, because humans tend to like what we know. I'm not sure if that might feel true for you in your current experience, but I just wanted you to know you're not alone in these feelings.

Thanks @tyme
Just finished all the on boarding stuff, so have now been immunised against everything as I will be dealing directly with patients. Hope to start next week, will fill you all in on how it goes. But thank you again for enquiring........Asgard

Hi @Asgard thanks for the check in..
I'm going to be honest. I've searched my soul including literally sitting on the mountain top with a girlfriend and talking... My "person" is commencing addiction (alcohol) counseling this week and I have decided to join a support group for people living with a close person to them who abuses alcohol. I just may say, that I will be expecting mixed or no responses from this post, but I'm a smart girl, and I'm putting one foot in front of the other in an empowered way, previously not in an empowered way. Cheers.alice.

Thank you for sharing this update @Alice10
It sounds like you've made some fantastic progress here and it's wonderful that you're feeling empowered in this.
I hope that this counselling is a positive step forward for your person, and for yourself, and I'm so glad to hear that you'll be accessing peer support from this group.
I'll be looking out for further updates, should you want to share but for now I'm glad that you've taken this time to acknowledge these developments
