@Former-Member..do u think mindfulness class made u feel to aware of every minute? I think in past when I've gone to yoga, or got fanatical about a new diet or something, I.e: I've gone vegan 3 times to fail, I notice I get so bloody caught up in it, that really I'm not just being. I sort of feel a bit the same, & know that I have to be kinder on myself. It's small things, if I'm to do that. I just keep it simple as much as I can. I walk if I feel lousy. I might see something on the way & it re-directs my thoughts. Hmm wish I knew a better answer other than I'm hearing you.

Yep @Former-Member .... I would grab the closest take-away coffee and walk my butt off till my mind was settled again, then work out what's happening for dinner .... follow the tracks till bedtime ....

Sooo glad the mindfulness class went well .... 😅 ..... "Cheers !!" with a virtual coffee ....

Thanks @utopia and @Former-Member. You know I didn't even think of a walk. I actually just panicked after my class because I was feeling ok but I was also feeling sooo tired after it. @Former-Member much to my disgust I just scoffed some chocolate which gave me some energy and a bit more brain back. Sometimes it's the smallest things that can have the biggest impact. My son just rang and I'm off to the hardware with him and then hopefully a walk. Thanks @Faith-and-Hope. Just saw your message. The class was really good for me concentrating and having to be present, and we played with sand which was kind of relaxing and fun. Just started on my drive home after sugared up thinking about dinner. I hope your day is good too. 💜😊

@Former-Member. We all need help from time to time. And I understand thst feeling you had. You achieved something new - now what? Your not punped - your not flat. You may find you feel a bit restless after next weeks class. It's anew therapy & that time for your body and mind to adjust to.
I'm off to my 2nd CBT session tomorrow. Didn't get the first session - I left confused & then down for a few days. Tomorrow I'll finally get it

Hi @Former-Member, just checking up on you... not... haha Things seem to be going well, really happy for you (and quietly proud). Glad the MH system has worked out better this time too. Perseverance is key sometimes.
