I'd love to see your cross stitch or your hat! I'm so glad you were able to distract yourself with knitting the hat for a few days and to reconnect with enjoying knitting. (Aside from weaving in the ends, lol)

Thanks @Judi9877 i am currently knitting my granddaughter a pink white and grey scarf.
but I bought some coloured rainbow glitter wool and was thinking I should try some socks. Have you knitted socks before. Do you have an easy pattern?

Hi @Gwynn
I've just clicked on the shrug pattern that you posted and all I can say is it's gorgeous! I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out as I think it will be very nice. I'm so proud that you're working on this!

Hi @Gwynn , Thanks for your message. I am currently working on a beanie and scarf project for a friend with an intellectual disability. This project has been critical in keeping me alive as I go through one of the worst crimes in the history of the NDIS. Knitting has kept me alive, and given me focus, so that I can fight for myself and all people with disabilities. I will knit this friend some pure wool socks when I am finished. He doesn't know it yet. It will be a surprise. If you have to suffer, and have no choice, then knitting or crocheting your way through it, with the intention of giving away your project, is a great way to survive.

Great idea @Ripples
I have a few projects for others requiring finishing off. You’ve inspired me to pick it all up again.
Thank you 💜

Hi @Ripples @Gwynn @Eve7 @BlueBay @Smittenkitten @Daisydreamer and all knitters here. Well done on all the fabulous knitting projects🧶
Below is a book I found in my collection that I thought some of you might enjoy. I found that it has some great simple projects and some great information on how knitting helps with mental health.
I hope you find it interesting!
