Hi there @Former-Member @Gwynn @Shaz51 @Eve7 @Anastasia @Daisydreamer and all knitters here. See below for the images I found of knitted and crochet Christmas trees that I was talking about before. Maybe there are some ideas here for next Christmas?
Take care and enjoy your knitting!

Good evening @Gwynn @Eve7 @Former-Member @Shaz51 @Anastasia @Daisydreamer and all knitters here.
Another day, another beanie, this time for a different charity, being the Salvation Army who I spoke to today and who said they would love to be a recipient of my knitted beanies which made me feel very happy to hear! I do love knitting for my current charity but the Salvation Army have helped me this year so I'm more than happy to return the favour. See below for the photo! The colours are yellow and navy blue; not black as it may look like on the photo.
Enjoy your knitting!

Hi @Former-Member @Gwynn @Anastasia @Eve7 @Former-Member @Shaz51 @Daisydreamer @Former-Member and everyone here.
Tonight (Saturday) I finally completed Strip 2 out of 9 (the blanket will have a total of 11 strips including 9 long strips of 150cm and 1 strip at the top and bottom 180cm to make the total blanket 1.9 high x 1.8 wide) and I sewed it up for my housemate/best friends Christmas blanket which will be a Crazy Blanket for her. The strip seemed to take forever to knit for some unknown reason but I finally got there at 2300 tonight. I knitted it whilst watching the Ashes cricket on TV so it helped with the boredom of knitting it. See below for the progress photo which I'm using and posting here to keep me motivated to continue knitting it!
@Former-Member thanks for the positive comments on my beanie! It's very much appreciated! I like knitting beanies as it allows me to get creative with different colours and use up my leftover balls of wool besides putting them to use in blankets.

Hi @Anastasia @Gwynn @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @Shaz51 @Daisydreamer and all knitters here. Thanks for all the nice comments about my knitted items. It's very much appreciated and you've made me very happy as well as motivated to continue knitting.
Below is another beanie I knitted for a furniture removalist guy who helped my housemate and I move house back in November. He likes the Collingwood AFL team so I offered to knit him one in those colours.
I'm now working on a simple baby jumper in a mustard colour that I started at midnight as I couldn't sleep. I found the pattern on the Internet so that is now keeping me busy. Hopefully I'll have it finished by Christmas Day so I can start a jumper for myself that I ordered wool for.
Enjoy your knitting forumites!
