Hi @Appleblossom, during my Europe trip I ended up getting one infection after another. Ended up the doc gave me the wrong meds which didn't help in clearing it up. It took more than three months to have the correct meds prescribed. By then my immune system was down the gurgler and my vocal chords got tired very quickly. Finally, it's back to normal; I am really very, very grateful for that. I had had visions of not being able to sing any more and that would have been a disaster.

mine, too @Appleblossom. It brings so much joy into my life. I've only started three years ago. In my previous life I wasn't allowed to listen to music, let alone sing. Besides, I had no idea I could. Singing is certainly part of my healing strategy

So grateful to just be alive, for loving friends, for God's many kindnesses, for my Doctor who gave me some kind advise today, and for my gift of music writing!

Indeed @Kurra; the main reason why I'm so enamoured with Schubert Lieder. They are passion pure - I can sing all my disappointment, my depression, my hopes through them. At the end I feel exhausted and calm and happy.
