Re: Gratitude posts

Today I am grateful that
* Centrelink will put money in my account on Thursday (empty purse)
* That my car made the huge return trip this weekend (& so did I)
* That I can choose which threads I post to on this forum - & that no matter how much zoe7 - wishes it different - I will not be a regular on her Everything Sports thread - lol.

Re: Gratitude posts

Hi @Appleblossom, during my Europe trip I ended up getting one infection after another. Ended up the doc gave me the wrong meds which didn't help in clearing it up. It took more than three months to have the correct meds prescribed. By then my immune system was down the gurgler and my vocal chords got tired very quickly. Finally, it's back to normal; I am really very, very grateful for that. I had had visions of not being able to sing any more and that would have been a disaster.

@Ffm48 Heart Singing has saved my life ..

Re: Gratitude posts

mine, too @Appleblossom. It brings so much joy into my life. I've only started three years ago. In my previous life I wasn't allowed to listen to music, let alone sing. Besides, I had no idea I could. Singing is certainly part of my healing strategy Woman Very Happy

Re: Gratitude posts

So grateful to just be alive, for loving friends, for God's many kindnesses, for my Doctor who gave me some kind advise today, and for my gift of music writing!

Music, a true life saver.

Re: Gratitude posts

Sure is @Ffm48!
Music expresses things that words can't access.

Re: Gratitude posts

Especially when you take the music from little black circles on lines to glorious sounds @Ffm48! 🎶💕🎶

Re: Gratitude posts

Indeed @Kurra; the main reason why I'm so enamoured with Schubert Lieder. They are passion pure - I can sing all my disappointment, my depression, my hopes through them. At the end I feel exhausted and calm and happy.

My favourite is Was ist Sylvia? It's playing in my head now @Ffm48 😃🎶🎶
