Well I don't think I'll be so much of a go getter this year. My numerology personal year number seems to indicate I need to slow down the pace a lot.
@Oaktree has been encouraging me to keep putting on atmospheric music to relax and have a sense of peace which has served as a useful reminder to me. I have felt so highly strung. Just gotta slow down. I've been told to allow things to come to me this year instead.
So today put on a track from the same you tube channel she recommended and had some ylang ylang aromatherapy and just rested.
Another occult system I follow is Human Design and it indicated this more broadly. So have been taking the pressure off and am trying to recalibrate after such an active year last year. I've reached all my goals last year healing myself and achieving greater vitality.
I'm tired today. But think resting is a useful daily achievement, its time that is not wasted.
Prepared some peanut/choc/chickpea treats after returning a book to the library.
Its going to be a quiet 2024

Here is my new Dr Who looking fridge with my peanut/choc/chickpea treats I created today. I use carob and low carb zero sugar choc drops. I think I might use up my leftover carrots and zucchini to make a quinoa slice on the weekend @Historylover @TAB @Glisten @Chuck77

@SmilingGecko Oh my stars! Look at that yummy food.
Can I live with you? LOL
I’ll do almost anything for someone that feeds me beautiful, healthy food.
Occasionally I can rustle up a halfway decent smoothie.

You are making me laugh again. The treats are really nice full of flavour and free of sugar. HINT! I think I may be doing more stay at home stuff this year. @Glisten. I have to eat healthy because of diabetes. Diabetes was certainly a wakeup call for me. I'm not a great cook but have to be more mindful now!

The contents of your refrigerator are admirable, @SmilingGecko. The treats sound delicious and so healthy. Amazing what treats can be made from vegetables.

There is nothing like music to create a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere, @SmilingGecko. That's why I love classical music so much. It's my life's sound track.

Hello @Historylover yes I'm taking a more gentle pace this year so will be turning my home into a sanctuary with peaceful music this year. Last year was go-go-go. I never thought much of weightwatchers but they have some great diabetic treat recipes. They are easy to make and are flavoursome without sugars or carbs

Scroll down until you reach snacks. I make the sweet potato bites and peanut choc blissballs

Weight Watchers has been around for a long time, @SmilingGecko. I remember them about 60 years ago with my mother's cousin's wife. They had to knit a square if they had gained weight, which was made into a blanket—probably for a charity. It looks like the population hasn't learnt anything. The recipes look delicious. I've added them to my recipe collection for another day.

Thats so funny @Historylover I think we would all be knitting squares! lol Oh well. I'm off for another walk today. I have been using my chi machine every day and feel a lot less stress and it seems to stop neuropathy in my foot. Whats your secret for getting over diabetes? I'm so glad you were able to reverse it!
