@tyme the beetroot dip tastes better than Yumis plus you get a whole lot more
I've never fried the cauli rice I just throw in stews.
What have you been up to today?
Got to get out into my garden tomorrow if the weather is good and toss some branch cuttings in the green waste.
It has been cold overcast and hailing today so couldn't get out to do it. Garbage collection for this is next week

@Mustang67This month is prostate cancer awareness month as I may have mentioned previously. So because of that there's a bit of media attention so they wanted someone to share their story, so I volunteered... and got to model for half an hour for a professional photographer 😎
I posted the article, editing to remove identifying information here earlier... (so it's that's not my real face 😁)

@Mustang67 wrote:When living way out north I happened to make friends with a guy that didn't live far from me and he drove one of the more modern models. I was walking to the shops one day, and just as I was about to walk past his driveway, he was pulling out. And he asked if I wanted a lift. I was only going to the end of the street, which would have been a 15 minute walk, but there was no way I wasn't going to take him up on his offer. But the ride went too fast. I literally just got my seat belt on, and we were there. Lol, but at least I can say that I have now been in one. I smile every time I see one.
@Mustang67 You should have just said the seatbelt was stuck! 😁 Such a pity you couldn't have had a longer ride. You're one up on me with modern Mustangs then, I still haven't been in one of those.
I don't have a bad credit rating but I still couldn't afford one. I build a lego model of one and also just got a lego 2022 Ford GT. About the closest I'll get to owning either as well.
Getting up close and personal at the drags must have been awesome. At least you have some brilliant photos to remember it with.

@MJG017 I think I have found you on the site to donate once I get paid. And if it's not you, someone else will be getting a surprise 😯
Well done for volunteering your story and getting it out there to raise awareness ⭐️
I love what you did to your face in the article. Lol That made me laugh, so thank you I will have a read shortly.

yeah, only time I can think of that I got in the paper was went sent a pen drawing in when in primary school. It took weeks and weeks to get published ; by time I saw it , wasnt that sure that I would have rather not done it. It looked a bit 'funny' by then. @MJG017

Oh, and I wont take offense to you saying my face is funny looking! 🤣🤣
The donations all go to the PCFA anyway so it's all good.

@MJG017 good on you for doing what you can. I am proud of you.
And I was hoping you wouldn't take offense to me saying your face is funny looking. I think a good sense of humour is essential to live a happy life.
When I have my depressive episodes, nothing would make me laugh, so I have learned to appreciate other people's good sense of humour. Especially when it gives me a good belly laugh like your picture did. So thank you 😊

@TAB @MJG017 my Dad was in the paper over probably 50 years ago and the heading was "Why the City Bus Ran Late".
He was sitting at the beginning of his run in a side street off Anzac Highway when he heard a woman screaming. He ran to her to see what was wrong and when he entered her back yard, he saw a toddler floating in the pool. He immediately jumped in and pulled the toddler out and commenced to give him mouth to mouth. He was able to bring the toddler back to life. And then he went on with his bus run as normal, but obviously now running late.
