Daily Achievements!

Re: Daily Achievements!

I have a daily achievement of my own today.  I did an interview and had a professional photographer come around to take a photo afterwards last week for the local newspaper.  So today it was finally published.  So i got to see myself in the paper so it was quite exciting.  I bought 2 copies 😃

Re: Daily Achievements!

That screen would have been nice @Mustang67 !

Certainly, at this stage of the footy seasons, too much is never enough lol

I saw the Panthers game at the pub I was watching the Swans at...Penrith smashed the Roosters, especially in the first half...looking good...again! ..yeah, can't like the Storm

Re: Daily Achievements!

@MJG017 because of the abuse I suffered from my ex, I ended up losing my job because I had too much time off from work to recover. And that's is where the wrecking ball started.  From there, I was no longer 2 weeks ahead with my rent and I was evicted from the new rental property that I moved to, to escape my abusive partner. I could no longer afford to pay my car loan or other debts. And had no choice but to declare bankruptcy.  Hence me losing the car.

I still don't have a permanent place to live and my furniture from my large 4 bedroom home has been in storage for over five years.

The FG was definitely purple. I used to love taking  off from the lights and flooring it. Oh yeah, she was also supercharged.

Re: Daily Achievements!

That's politicians for you @Former-Member . Well, a hell of a lot of them anyway

Re: Daily Achievements!

@MJG017 Yeah its hard to get the blitzing right. I only tried the packet store bought variety once. I've noticed that you have to only add a few florets at a time and blitz for a few seconds. Its not perfect but its a great low carb alternative to rice

Re: Daily Achievements!

..sounds like a fantasy of mine @MJG017  I used to think I should be famous lol 🤔👑😎🤣

Re: Daily Achievements!

@MJG017 that is so funny because I too will go "look a mustang". My dad understood it, but my mum and daughter just don't get cars. I would absolutely love to go for the ride that you had. I love both the old and new Mustangs.

When living way out north I happened to make friends with a guy that didn't live far from me and he drove one of the more modern models. I was walking to the shops one day, and just as I was about to walk past his driveway,  he was pulling out. And he asked if I wanted a lift. I was only going to the end of the street, which would have been a 15 minute walk, but there was no way I wasn't going to take him up on his offer. But the ride went too fast. I literally just got my seat belt on, and we were there. Lol, but at least I can say that I have now been in one. I smile every time I see one. Unless I am depressed, but I normally don't go anywhere when depressed. I have purchased a couple of model mustang because that is going to be the closest I get to owning one. With my credit rating now, there is no way I could get a loan, or afford the repayments anyway.

I love most things to do with cars. Love the burnout and the drags.

I took this photo of my friend at the burnouts. I actually went and slept on his sofa bed for six months after being evicted. I went to every burnout comp with him and because I was taking photos with a professional camera, I got to stand right near the pad.

It was the seat the drags. A friend of my husband at the time was dragging his car, so he told the raceway, that I was his photographer and I got to stand in the middle of the track near the tree. I got some awesome shots.

Re: Daily Achievements!

@StuFI would love Penrith to make it four in a row, but they have played a couple of average halves of footy. Which gives me a tiny bit of doubt. But one thing with Penrith, you can never write them off.

I don't think any team has win four in a row before.

And yes, when watching sport, your screen can never be too big.

Re: Daily Achievements!

@MJG017 Wow. May ask what the article was about?

Re: Daily Achievements!

Yeah @Mustang67  - Penrith will keep on coming

No one has done it in the NRL competition. Back in the day the Rabbitohs and Dragons had huge streaks
