Good evening @RedHorse @TAB @MDT @Meowmy @LookingHopeful @ShiningStar @tyme @Daisydreamer @Shaz51 and everyone here. Well done on your achievements everyone!
@RedHorse You always amaze me with your posts of your achievements despite you going through a rough period mentally. I’m very proud of all of your achievements so well done. Depression can be harsh at times from my own lived experience so just getting out of bed for me is a major achievement. Keep at it forumite friend!
I’m sorry I’ve been absent from here lately. The past week has been kind of hectic in my life with my Tafe dilemma finally being sorted out last Friday afternoon. I’m officially going back to uni for April study period to recommence my psychology degree with the aim of a career as a case manager at the eventual end of it. I’m feeling a little apprehensive and anxious about the thought of being a uni student for the next 3-4 years give or take passing of subjects and if I’m even capable of passing each subject but I know these concerns are normal and will settle down once I get involved in the whole study routine once again. I just have to believe in myself that I’m capable and can do this. It’s time for me to be my own hero of my story and rescue myself, no matter how hard things get. I’ll be fine!
As for achievements over the past few days, here is what I’ve achieved:
- Ate lunch and dinner
- Had a shower
- Got the back of my Christmas Day jumper completed and started on the front section
- Worked on Sane training modules for 2 modules and completed them
- Started beanie 29
- Took meds
- Sent an email to my Tafe counsellor asking for some feedback on the past few sessions to help me with my future recovery goals and ideas
- Banked a cheque at long last
- Did 2 meditation sessions over the past 2 days to help calm down and relax
- Looked at a photo book that was delivered that I ordered for my sisters Easter present.
That’s all from me tonight! Remember that the littlest things can be achievements if they mean something special to you so they are worth celebrating.
Take care forumites!

Hi @Shaz51 Eye appointment today for full check up leaving me with light sensitivity and blurred vision all day 😞 so my biggest achievement was resting and cleaning mildew off timber surfaces throughout the house after all the rain we’ve had. As my vision was impaired, I’ve probably missed a few spots hahaha so will check tomorrow. House smells of clove oil tonight and plenty more rain on the way. I also managed listening to a few mindfulness talks which help me relax and dinner and dishes are done. My son also rang to let me know his flights are booked as coming home for a week in April. Been 2 1/2 years due to Covid and can’t wait to see him. Something to really look forward to.

Hello Forumites and well done on your achievements.
Today I got up, had a shower and drove into town for a productive appointment with my GP.
I also did a bit of grocery shopping, paid a bill at the post office and bought myself a takeaway as a treat.
Overall am happy with the way things went considering I wasn't sure I could do it at all yesterday.
Now the challenge is to keep up the momentum with making and attending follow up appointments.
Take care,
RedHorse 🌹🐴
