Re: 2025: New Year, New Beginning
@The-red-centaur Hi, I like to just throw a small amount of paint on and then see what that inspires me to add. Tell me if this helped. I know it's not for everyone. Get to chat again it's been a while. I think I dropped off or out while I started with a new therapist. Good luck and bring on 2025 inspiration s.

TW: Re: 2025: New Year, New Beginning
Hi @tyme
Lovely to hear from you again 😊
I am about to go a bit off topic here, however, this does relate to the year 2025. So, please excuse me as I do my trauma dump as a young autistic person.
Unfortunately, the first week of this year had turned out pretty bleak for me. Why? Because I am being assessed for POTS, which I genuinely believe was caused by the severe emotional and psychological abuse and potential sexual harassment that I faced from a man in his late 40s to early 50s (naturally, I've done my research on the causes of POTS). Also, I am now entering my sixth year of having an Interim Intervention Order (IIO) put against me by the police, which the courts enforced, and quite frankly, this has just become disappointing and depressing at this point in my life. This man that I have mentioned above is the protected person - and at one point, so were his young daughter and ex-wife. Why? I have no idea. I was never attracted to the ex-wife or the daughter (weird). I think it goes without saying that I had already attempted to end my own life twice now (both incidents occurred in late 2024).
I am seeing my new psychologist next week and I'd like to discuss the emotional aspects of the impact that this IIO has had on me, especially when that nobody else wants to listen. I want 2025 to be the year of doing some deep healing from this perverted male and his delusional family.

Wow @JPEG1998 . It sounds like so much has happened for you since we last chatted. I'm not going to bring up the events of when we last chatted, but it's just so great to get an update from you.
I hope all goes well for you as you move forward this year.
Hope your new psych will be helpful.
Hugs

Re: 2025: New Year, New Beginning
Hi everyone, jumping back in here to say hi ^_^
One more week until I see my psych again when they come back from leave… these gaps can be hard in terms of trying to support myself, and it takes a lot of mental energy to call up helplines etc too when you don’t know what kind of person you’d get on a particular day. Glad you are all here though 🙂
I went ice skating today and feel better in my body after, but still feeling a bit blue this week. Just really need that space for my feelings when I don’t have it amongst family /work etc in everyday life. Might try doing some journalling.
hope you are all well
