rough time

Re: rough time

I have a standing wardrobey, clothes racky kind of thing @Teej (I have no idea what to call it haha). It has 4 shelves on the side of it that are square. 3 of them are now cat holders complete with cat beds, blankets etc 😆 Its pretty much that second pic of yours!

That sounds So much like something you'd enjoy @outlander and like such a great thing to aim for and do. Go you for thinking about it!

Re: rough time

Yeah ive always been into health sorts of things. I was going to do that course before the mh one i did but wasnt sure about it as this one is bigger and longer with more assessments etc but think im ok enough to look into it now. I always doubt my studies but the harder ones pose more of a challange and brain stimulus which seems to suit me lol. @CheerBear

Re: rough time

From what I have noticed it seems you really enjoy your studies @outlander and they're something that gives you distraction, learning, confidence maybe. Very cool to be considering 😊

Re: rough time

I love learning @CheerBear i dont think you can ever have to much knowledge. Even if you never really use it.

Re: rough time

Couldn't agree more @outlander 🙂

Re: rough time

Lol @outlander  I have lots of useless information I’ve learned but little things like remembering what I’m doing, where I’ve put things, time etc,  I’m a lost cause. :face_with_rolling_eyes:. But I think you’re so good at learning and really smart @outlander so I don’t think it will ever be useless info. I agree that learning is a good lifelong thing to do.......it’s just for me I’d prefer the organisation was something i could learn and stay learned.

The dog/pup thing is actually much more about having a playmate for my pooch. When we were at my old house last weekend he played and played with my old dog who he knows. He was so good with her. I think it would help him to be not so attached to me and give him more stimulation. Plus I would enjoy seeing them play and bond. I think it needs to be a pup for him to accept though. My old dog is really old but he knows her.

Cracked me up @CheerBear re the working on the stack of cats 😂 irl.

Heading off for a while now. Thanks for the chats @outlander , @CheerBear , @Sans911 .

I have lots im supposed to be doing and am likely to be a bit scarce again. Some big things have come up in the last few days that I’ve just buried my head in the sand until now. Time to try to drag it out. 💜🤗

Re: rough time

lol @Teej don't worry I forget a lot too 😊
learning also helps me to not feel like im doing nothing. I mean im always doing something but often it feels like a waste of time where as studying feels like I have an end goal or I can branch off towards other goals with whatever course I choose. I was given some advice when I first become a carer and its stuck with me and that advice is 'Your pop wont last forever so while you can pick up some courses in whatever area interests you so that when the time comes you have some knowledge in that area so will help you to gain other employment'

theres lots of things im sure could be done but your entitled to come and chat here too 💜💜

Re: rough time

@CheerBear are we going to have to call you the crazy cat lady 😜

Re: rough time

Big things having come up doesn't sound great @Teej , especially with all the other things you've been dealing with.  Hope the digging your head out goes OK. Almost time for me to do the same.

Just wanted to say that yes, @outlander 😁 I'm a cat lady for sure. I found a photo of my future self to share with you
