Re: So what did I achieve today?
I achieved getting up and coming to work.
After a holiday season of stuffing my face and sleeping in, I managed to somehow remember how to get out of bed and get to work.
....I did discover that I don't have a pen though....

Re: So what did I achieve today?
Hey @NikNik
Welcome back! We have really missed you guys ( @CherryBomb @Hobbit & the little green dude icon sorry I am having a stressed mental blank moment!). Well done for getting up & getting to work - hope you had an incredibly peaceful & relaxing break (as well as all that stuffing!).
I have a few concerns and suggestions about how the holiday break on the forum was handled, which I'll email you about in the hope it will be smoother for everyone next time.
Kind regards,
Kristin

Re: So what did I achieve today?
my achievement for today........
well i didn't start off well, lately i been sleeping until 1pm or later grrrr
but i went out to do stuff today, i ventured to centrelink then bailed, because i don't see a point in fighting with them about my claim being rejected.... apparently $500 every two weeks is enough according to them.... that does not come close to covering my car payments, my loan payments, my cc payments, fuel, etc, but i just can't be bothered with them, i range them about a month ago requesting the docs for resubmition of claim, and never got them, and now i just don't see the point.
Then i went to go to the post office, to get my forms for applying for a passport, but forgot all about why i was there so i left, i only just remembered when i got home.
But i did go get a hair cut, so i achieved one thing off my list today, and added two more to tomorrow's list.........
i am in a happier place today
i am hoping to be up much earlier tomorrow, so hopefully i get a good sleep tonight, it has been lacking this last week or so.
oh and i have made plans to catch up with a friend on thursday night, going to the dog track..... should be fun

Re: So what did I achieve today?
I second @NikNik ! I somehow managed to get myself at work this afternoon after a few weeks of eating too much, and sleeping in.
Glad to be back though. Feeling refreshed even though brain is still waking up.

Re: So what did I achieve today?
Today was a good day
I woke up at a reasonable hour, checked my phone, a message from a mate wanting to catch up for lunch, i sent back maybe as i had just woken up, had a long shower, got dressed, was running late to be at the pub to meet him, messaged him, he says come down i'll order for you.
Get there, another mate is also there, so we ate lunch, laughed, watched the cricket, had a good time.
then i went to my g.p appointment, covered the basics, blood test tomorrow, increase one of my meds, all things good
Then another mate messaged me, and i caught up with him for a couple of drinks and watch more of the cricket.
Now relaxing at home about to watch a movie.
Today was a good day!

Re: So what did I achieve today?
Now its just the real rotten fear based days that disable me completely that I have no handle on and that rip my confidence to shreds and I loose hope in a better tomorrow. Yet there has always (eventually) been one.
And today I achieved keeping it together while the men where here putting the new gutters on the house I am renting. I did feel over exposed but I coped. 2 stars for me **
