Thanks @Faith-and-Hope
It's hard to buy things for myself, especially with Christmas in mind.
My psych suggested that I buy things for myself, to the value of at least one of the hamper parcels that I sent. I didn't actually spend that much on myself, but it's a start.
I agree with the cards. I always keep mine for a year or so, even though I don't display them.
It is really nice of people to send Christmas (or Birthday) cards. Although people don't seem to send them anywhere near as much as they used to.

Yes @Former-Member I did send several hampers to all my family members in Sydney, but didn't get special stuff (or presents) for myself.
That's what my psychologist wasn't happy about - I could see the look of disapproval on her face. Then she said that my homework was to buy some nice things for myself (including a bottle of Scotch).
I like Whiskey, but I rarely ever drink it - except when I was rarely given a bottle as a present, years ago.
So I bought one for myself, for about the first time ever. One N...p (Shot Glass) is equivalent to one standard sized drink, so you only have a little at a time.
Besides, being that expensive, you wouldn't want to drink it in a hurry...
Yes I'm very sensitive to noise too, it drives me totally bonkers.
Yes my self-care does need lots of work & improvement.
