Yes @tyme
I had a surgical lap band put in - in 2005. Lost a lot of weight but quickly put it all on again due to depression.

Ah, makes sense. I think they've moved on from lap banding now and gastric bypasses are in. But only for extreme medical cases @Oaktree
I hope it all works out for you.
Depression is a strange thing. Whenever I have a 'down' period, I lose my appetite altogether. I'm mindful it is the opposite for others.

Hopefully Ruby doesn’t get too bored and tear apart your sofa or something like that. See that on YouTube all the time.

She's got people at home with her all the time. She spends time outside, inside, going for walks @Oaktree

I am doing a combination of distraction and tackling the problem. I am listening to my Happy playlist on Spotify while writing down how I feel about my Mother.

Hey @Oaktree , I wanted to check in with you to make sure you are okay. I'm mindful of the cyclone in WA... I hope you are okay...
Please know I'm thinking of you.

Hey @tyme
I just messaged you in 2025 - study group
The cyclone is up north, nowhere near me for the time being. Thanks for thinking of me though.
