Life can be a Pain

Re: Life can be a Pain

even a trim can make us feel refreshed @Owlunar maybe a new style would suit of some kind. the hairdressers would be able to give some advice if you wanted to go down that path too or even look at hair styles on the net.

make sure you take care of yourself too. maybe a nice heat pack would be good to warm up or a hot water bottle?

hugs Heart

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @outlander

There is not a whole lot I can do with my hair - it has a mind of it's own - it's fine but aggressive and if I had it short it would be spikey and that's not me

So I have clips in either side and letting  it grow a bit would be a change - I am hoping to get down to the shops in the main shopping area here and see a different hair dresser and maybe have a bit of colour - there was something about my previous hair-dresser that irritated me - I can't put my finger on what so I felt like not going often this year so yes - see a different hair-dresser and talk about some blond streaks - that would give me a lift

That pony-tail was really something - right down my back - and after I saw it on the floor I wished I had arranged for it to go to the anti-cancer-council for wigs - it was at least 15 inches of untreated hair - but I don't feel like growing it that long again - it was a lot of trouble but I loved it

I fell asleep watching Star-Trek darn it - I really hate sleeping in the late afternoon like that - I will have to cook some dinner soon

Back later Outlander

Re: Life can be a Pain

Youre precious @outlander ❤ are you doin ok? Love your new profile pic. Not obline much lately but glqf youre still strong here. You've grown so much 🌹

Ho @Owlunar, i normally have wild woolly hair but a $15 professional straightening, oh my... What a difference 🙂 Think i'll invest in a straightener & keep this as my 'new look' Just got my own 'Seniors'card so trying to pack the year out with positive changes / positive memories, like new hair. Might put foils in yet but undecided. She plucked my 5month eyebrows forest that day too, all
for $25 🙂 Next time i'm going to have a shampoo massage too 🙂

Did you have a nice dinner? I open a can of vegie soup some nights in this cooler weather.

Give your puddytat a hug from me 🐙

Re: Life can be a Pain

hi @Former-Member im ok today Heart  my vatar is intended to make people smile 🙂 are you going ok?

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @Former-Member

My puddytat is up for cuddles lately - I have been lying down and reading a lot lately - I bought a bunch of books last weekend - easy reading - the weather is rotting my socks off - I really feel as gloomy as the weather here - when I lie down to read Companion Cat is all over me - talking, giving me orders, wanting cuddles, complaining - I understand her cause I feel the same way

undefined

So right - so true - next time I get back to my easy winter reading I will have the cat telling me and I will share your cuddle with her - she will be delighted

It's a good idea to pack your year with positive changes and memories - I keep thinking about last winter in Sydney and the winter before in Canberra - how time passes - I feel like going back to Lakes Entrance for a few days - not as stressful but I have to get my BP sorted out first - I have been reading this up on the internet - I have enough medical knowledge to know what applies and what doesn't and probably different medication would be better - my BP is too low for most  of the day with what I am taking - add the gloomy weather to this and this is not fun at all - I know you understand

So yeah - maybe I can find a hair-dresser I will like and get blond streaks - my hair is straight with a double crown and a cow-lick - it is so spikey it is irritating right now - and this is something I can fix - as I can getting my blood pressure attended too

I had cutlets and vegies for dinner - I sometimes have a can of vegetable soup too - so think with chunks of meat and vegies it reminds me of the stew I used to make - cooking for one is B O R I N G and I know you know so I am always trying to be inventive - I had Chicken Kiev last night with vegies - always eat vegies

Hi @outlander

I love your avatar too - it's cheerful - I agree with Lapses - you have grown a lot - well done -
