Re: Fragile
Did you know @Appleblossom that fliea are more prolific pollenators than bees? We really only appreciate bees because they pollenate our food, but flies pollenate everything...and if it weren't for flies, the world would be constantly covered in carcasses. Also, they protect us from far more illnesses than they give us, because for example they constantly feed on ground parasites.

Re: Fragile
Does that mean I can let the flies feast at my next bbq? Lol
You are right. Poor things have suffered such discrimination. They are experimenting using flies to pollinate crops due to the varroa mite parasite.
Nature is usually more complex than first meets the eye.

Re: Fragile
Well done @Appleblossom for keeping strong boundaries with people.
It's difficult doing difficult things isn't it.
I'm glad you've already made your soup.
I like it when I already have a meal made. Usually that happens because it's just me so I make something then have left overs - sometimes I deliberately make too much and freeze some.
I hope you got through all your appointments ok

Re: Fragile
Yes, we need to realise that everything in nature is necessary, and that we too are part of the natural world. No matter how much we try to escape nature everything we use is part of the natural world, from the houses we build to the plastics we use, to the petrol and steel we use in our cars, trains, boats... It all comes to us from nature.
I'm sorry to hear about your predicament @Appleblossom

Re: Fragile
It was lovely to see your messages of support.
Thank you @Shaz51 @outlander @Till23
It's been a long day.
My singing group went well. 10 showed. We discussed difficult person and they all wanted to ... Let go of him... And keep singing with the group. They had all paid and realised he was wanting too much special treatment and was too bossy and controlling. They sang really well together and then chatted about life and death and poetry.
I feel really relieved as I didn't want to disturb the connectedness in the group. I really angsted over it.
The other 2 appointments went well.
It makes me feel human to be able to talk about the things going on in my life. I never realised how stoic I was as mother trained me not to bother her with my concerns and there were too many important things I just couldn't raise with her. It became my way to talk about normal things with health professionals instead of the people in my life.
Thanks for being there.

Re: Fragile
@Abner maybe my predicament has been managed. See previous post. He chose not to come and we did fine. I love the male voices though....
I have been very grounded in nature, even studying it at tertiary level, so yep deeply involved in sustainability and environmental awareness and actions.
I go back to my first piano lesson under a tree with my parents visiting the orphanage and dad pointing out some bugs and spiders. Music and Natural Science is key for me.
