I would hope not @TAB. It would destroy the safe place we have built here as members.

Hi guys,
Just wanted to drop a brief note in here. We know that online communication is already difficult, so it is important to acknowledge that new members can then find it harder to get involved as they get used to the space. A big principle of our community here is inclusiveness and using words like 'newbies' in this way may cause others to feel excluded.
As members who have been around a bit longer, it is useful to all of us, to welcome and support one another at all paths on our journey here together.
We have all been new to something, somewhere at some point in our lives

@outlander Thanks for noticing. Your eye is usually on the ball.
Yes many people have worked to generate a sense of safety on this forum. An amazing joint effort at peer support, that I am proud to have been associated with.
The importance of safe spaces
and what that actually means for a diverse community ...
an ongoing process it seems.
Also the questions of who does the work
.... who gets protection....
Cultural baggage or legacies ...
Diagnoses or just states of mind ....
Some tulips for me.
How much circumscription of language is appropriate?
Am I really not diplomatic enough?
