Hey forumites
Do hope you are well
Thank you for your email
You will see that I posted about workplace difficulty and harassment
I have learned to lower my expectations from work and remember that it's mostly people in their nervous 20s.
My overall approach last week was to just go in and do the job and treat people with respect. Not grovel. But just respect. If they have given me crap then it's all over
Not gonna hold grudges
Id rather just focus in on the things that matter.
Namely, focusing on my partner visa application with my partner. Figuring out how to save without starving and to also read well.
I finished The Secret History which was an intense read and the perfect escape.
Tonight I will go to a work social. It'll be at someone's place. It's in a neighbourhood I used to frequent when I was younger.
I'm writing a lot for reflecting and also for my substack blog. That's been good.
Started my Christmas shopping already.
Life is good. Ultimately.
I have also booked in with two new therapists which are both free. One is in Feb next year at hospital, it is an anxiety clinic. The other is all online called mindspot.
Taking it one day at a time
Though work is difficult, at least it is shift work so I get time out regularly which is good. I took time off last week and have recovered. Had very bad insomnia.
Thanks for swinging by.
