@Molliex  Hey Molliex your new kitty Luna is beautiful (I love tabby cats :)). Stay safe won't you and keep in touch. You are a very valued member of the sane community. Love peaxxx

Re: Dealing with intrusive thoughts - my struggle!

Hey @Molliex  it's so hard with toddlers Mr Angels and I had 3 kids in 3 years it was chaos!

Congratulations on not using SH.  I  have also managed to make it without harming for 1 month.    I think  of you often.   I am away at the moment so haven't really caught up on everyone's posts.   I hear it is a tough time for you and I am thinking about you my friend,  sending much love xxx

Re: Dealing with intrusive thoughts - my struggle!

Hi @Molliex

I don't think you're alone in feeling exhausted right now - the fires alone are problematic for us all and you might feel as if you don't have the right to complain but we all feel this deeply - it seems apocalypictic for many - that word has been used a great deal by the media and it describes my feelings -

I think we all have smoke and it is worse if you have asthma - it causes asthma - and it makes effective breathing more difficult and you have a 2yo - wow - no rest there with the terrible twos - and NO NO NO NO - it does bring back memories - if it helps it doesn't last forever - it just seems to - and add this to asthma and you really feel wiped out - yes - got it - you are free to complain here and we will all listen

I'm glad you are seeing your GP tomorrow for a new health plan - you are right - the new year as not begun well but it's good you are going to see someone and also -  a new kitten - aw - um - yes - I would like one but not right now - kittens are so gorgeous - and funny - and hard work too - yeah - I remember when I had one - she was an electric cat and got a suitable name for that - what a buzz - and good therapy too

And no SH - well done - keep sharing here - we really understand

I felt overcome by the barrage of fire news too but I kept watching - having fires in areas I have travelled in often means I know those districts -

Keep messaging

Re: Dealing with intrusive thoughts - my struggle!

thinking of you @Molliex and hoping your feeling abit better now 💙💛🧡❤

Re: Dealing with intrusive thoughts - my struggle!

Thank you @outlander for thinking of me. I am still unwell. Every time I start getting better, there is another terrible day with smoke and bad air, and my chest gets bad again. It is a constant battle. We are seriously considering moving away - I can't live like this.

I am doing ok though - somehow my MH is not as bad as I might expect. Maybe I am finally becoming a bit stronger? Or probably I am just being a bit kinder to myself.

I am so tired though - between work, being sick, and life with young kid, i just don't have a lot of energy for myself or others. That's why I haven't been around to support everyone much. I do appreciate you any everyone else who has commented or tagged me. I am sorry I just don't have anything to give right now x

How are you? I am sorry I haven't been keeping up with all the threads ❤️ ❤️
