Re: Chronic kidney disease & mental health
Hi @Shaz51
What with the fire and Mr Shaz and your Mum you have a lot on your plate without kidney disorder - so it's not surprising that your mental health needs checking too. It is perfectly natural that stress would add a great deal of pressure to your life and make the kidney work harder
It's amazing with all of your health problems that they don't consider your situation bad enough to put you on the waiting list for a kidney. I guess you have to be on dialysis before that can happen - has this been suggested yet or are you still waiting.
You have to consider you Mum and Mr Shaz but you need to take care of yourself too. I hope you can find time to rest more - and I know this isn't easy. I just wish it was
This is your second Mum feeling protective
Sending my love

Re: Chronic kidney disease & mental health
Hello @Former-Member , @Owlunar , @Faith-and-Hope , @eth , @Eve7 , @Emelia8 , @Former-Member
Well it ended up the blood tests were uncompleted
Which made the kidney specialist upset
Now have to go and do the blood tests again
The other tests came back alright and the doctor said I am fine
Ohhh great I thought !!!!

Re: Chronic kidney disease & mental health
Aw great @Shaz51
You are fine? Really? With all the disorders creeping in and taking up residence in your life and the doctor said "Your fine"
I would find that a put-down. Fine compared with what?
I'm sorry - your life is some kind of battle-ground but it has to get worse before you get on the list for a kidney transplant
This is your second-mum getting protective again

Re: Chronic kidney disease & mental health
thank you @Former-Member and @BlueBay
@BlueBay, my sister , it means that my one and only kidney is declining and finding it harder to do its job
which means i will have to go on a Kidney dialysis and on a kidney transplant list to wait for a new kidney
so will need for a stricter diet , more blood tests and specialists appt
have not got all the symptons yet @BlueBay , but going to try to slow it down
