@Dimity I think the new keyboard is coming Monday or Tuesday. Phone access is agood idea. Guess what I'm eating right now...toast with grapefruit and lemon marmalade! I also bought some ruby grapefruit marmalade, but the lemon one is even nicer 🙂 I'm actually not meant to have grapefruit, something to do with one of my diabetes meds, but I've never quite understood it...plus the amount of grapefruit isfairly small when spread on toast...that's if I can stop myself eating it from the jar! 😄
So glad you have your garden. I don't think I could live without a garden...imagine just having concrete 😞
Well done with achieving the paperwork successes despite feeling yuck👍
I hope when you wake up today you don't feel tired or unwell...it's due to be sunny, so hopefully that will help and you won't feel grumpy... 💚
Oh - nearly forgot to tell you - I did 10 minutes' short of 4 hours on the house yesterday, and totally cleared the kitchen bench. Am really pleased, even though I still haven't done the kitchen floor...that's the aim for today, well, not to finish it but to make progress hopefully.🤞

Hi @Dimity , sorry you are feeling so down 😞
Sending wishes for you... 🤞
Today I need to pop out to the library and shops and post office this morning, then hopefully I have energy to tackle the kitchen floor.
Today your helper comes...I hope it's positive and productive, if you feel up to it 💚

Thanks @NatureLover today went better than expected. We tackled quite a bit of craft stuff, then managed to take most of it to the opshop the same day. My helper was pleased to see I'd already planted the plants we bought last week.
It looks as though the rain will hold off tomorrow so I'd like to weed or pick up neighbourhood litter... both need doing. I need to follow up on paperwork too, and the dreaded decluttering, but I don't seem able to fit much into my window of energy/motivation at the moment.

Well I picked up a bagful of litter today @NatureLover but I'm behind on chores and everything else. Hope you did better than me.

Hi @Dimity , I've just got my new keyboard set up! It feels quite different to the old one, but at least all the keys don't get stuck. I'll try not to get marmalade stuck on this one! I've also ordered a new mobile phone as my old one's been playing up for a while now. That always throws me, having a new phone...I'll have to psych up to actually start it.
Well done for picking up the litter - that must be very satisfying. Well done also for your work on Tuesday and for getting it out of the house the same day. 👍
I didn't do any better than you - I'm stuck on the kitchen floor still.

I understand about having limited energy and motivation. Good luck for these two tasks...

That was quick work with the keyboard @NatureLover . Hope the new phone isn't a bother.
Today I pressed on with admin stuff: dealt with a couple of things at the bank then printed receipts for the next tax return. One step forward, two steps back. I had to cancel my credit card for the second time this year for a smallish but definitely fraudulent transaction the bank warned me last time could be a precursor to a bigger loss... this time they tried to discount it, as did IDCare when I rang for advice. Setting up all my regular payments again when I get the new card will be a pain.
Tomorrow will be the chores I didn't finish today but hopefully something productive as well, I need the lift. Garden or livingroom would be good. Good luck with your kitchen floor.

@Dimity Well done, sounds like you achieved a lot yesterday! And business stuff too, which is difficult. Bother about the fraudulent transaction and having to get a new credit card though 😢
I'm dropping off some things (already sorted) to the Opp Shop today so that will get them out of the house and make some room. Some of them I tried to sell on local pages but no takers. I don't feel very energetic this morning, but am hoping that making a start will give me some energy - it sometimes does.
I hope today you can get the lift you need.

Well done for sorting stuff and getting it to the opshop @NatureLover especially when you're low on energy. Me too. I just caught up on chores today and shopped. I'll have to make more effort tomorrow.

@Dimity I'm impressed you did chores plus shopping when you had low energy. I think that's a real achievement.
I did chores and grocery shopping too yesterday, but no tidying. But now I'm home for 2 days thankfully, so have no excuse! Thankfully the smoke-detector-check man hasn't come yet - I've been lucky. Unfortunately I'm still shopping and bringing things into the house, then realising I have no room to put them anywhere 😣 I will talk to my psychologist about it at the next appt. I may have developed an online shopping addiction 😣 - that feels shameful for me to admit out loud like that.
It's part of Hoarding Disorder unfortunately, but something I thought I had pretty much overcome years ago - the "bringing things in" part.
I'm increasing my use of the therapy light box from today, as I've been battling some depression the last few days.
I hope today goes well for you, that you have some more energy...
