Thanks @NatureLover . We went for a walk today, which avoided facing the house. I'm pressing on with admin stuff.
The sun was nice today, although it's still cold. I hope you're keeping warm.

Hi @Dimity , it's f r e e z i n g , isn't it!
Did your helper not come yesterday? (I get the impression you're a very private person, so no need to answer if you'd rather not)
I think a walk is good. It's more than I did, although I purposely had a "day off" from all responsibilities yesterday. I do that occasionally, and it does me good. I mostly just read books and ate yesterday.
Well done for persevering with your admin tasks, which I know are not pleasant.
I need to tackle the kitchen and do laundry today. Luckily I mostly enjoy doing laundry. I do it first thing, so that I feel the washing machine is doing the work for me and I'm achieving something before I'm quite ready to start tidying!
At least I'm home all day today, unless the optometrist calls for me to pick up my new glasses. I find I need at least 2 days a week at home, or more if I can get them. I'm a homebody. Plus I achieve more on the house on days where I'm home all day.
I'm still waking up late every morning, which throws me a bit. I go to sleep around 9pm. Why is it that only one day of waking up late can ruin a pattern, yet it takes at least 21 days to make the new habit of getting up early?
Thinking of you and sending wishes for hope for you, a glimmer of a good future for you, plus all you need to achieve your tasks 💚

Yes it's been very cold @NatureLover . I've been avoiding using my gas heater but haven't got comfortable with my new reverse cycle a/c yet which was supposed to be more efficient and more economical.
Yesterday I walked with my helper. She suggested a walk in a nearby park and drove me there. It was lovely but chilly.
I'm working down my list of admin tasks and have ticked off a couple more but am waiting on documents.
I usually manage to stay on top of laundry and washing up and am improving re other chores. I didn't know that about waking early. I'd love to reset my body clock. I've found it very difficult to get up early the last couple of days for medical tests. 21 days!
Thanks for your good wishes. Hopefully I'll be back on track soon. I feel I'll be beginning again, and it's a bit daunting.

That's tough @Dimity to not use any heating in winter. I did that for many years, and it's depressing. By about 4pm I was so grumpy and depressed by being cold that I used to go to bed. I hope you can get used to your reverse cycle aircon heating.
I'm glad to hear your helper is open to walks, and not pushing you too hard on the house when you're not feeling able to tackle it.
I hope your medical tests aren't too alarming?
Yesterday I did all the laundry I needed to but not all the kitchen I needed to. I was busy all day but not with the kitchen! I also picked up my new glasses. Today is work, which is a relief...no tidying to do on a work day!

Yes, this is daunting. But you strike me as both resilient and determined. I guess you might not be feeling those things at the moment though...wishing you good luck getting started again at the right time for you. 💚

I hope you had a good day at work today @NatureLover . Well done for keeping busy yesterday. The kitchen will get done in good time I'm sure.

It wasn't such a great day at work @Dimity and I left early. Now I have two days at home, thankfully, so there's no excuse not to work hard on the house. No sunshine though, which makes it harder (for me, anyway). The smoke detector man is due to arrive around now, so I need to clear the floor.
Am still waking up late naturally, so have decided to set an alarm from tomorrow, to get back in the early habit. Have also decided to start my therapy light box again, but only for 20 minutes every second day to start with.
I hope you're keeping warm enough... Also that you feel motivated to do some decluttering. I can tidy with you this weekend, if you like? Virtually, of course...

I trust you cleared a path for the smoke detector technician @NatureLover .
I set an alarm but often wake briefly then sleep again. I need earlier nights.
It would be good to get back into your light therapy, especially if your skin is better able to tolerate it.
Thanks for offering to tidy with me - I'll try tomorrow. I'd like to work on the livingroom. And although it will be cloudy, the rain is supposed to be holding off tomorrow, so I might get into the garden. My personal garden, that is. I despair of the common area.

I'm glad you have a personal garden to do as you like with, @Dimity . Especially with the very disrespectful and destructive man ripping out your favourite plants in the common garden!
I only did 1 hour and 20 minutes yesterday. Oh gosh no, it will take many days to clear the floor area - I have to disinfect every item!
It would be nice to tidy with you today...I'm aiming for a definite 4 hours today. I will keep an eye on my email notifications for any posts from you.
