Am Not Coping

We have a community spirit in this area - and the Fire Engine thing on Good Friday is part of it

Yeah - the little kids like to bang the coins - but their tin weighs more - I will add a handful of coins if the Fire Engine comes around this afternoon

It never fails - I really stuff it up with I try and get a note into the can - maybe coins is easier - after all a tonne of lead and a tonne of feathers weigh the same - but the feathers are a bigger bundle

@Owlunar I always put a note into the oldest kids tin and then split the coins between them - for them to put in themselves. Yes they love thinking they have the most money because their tin is so heavy. Lol.
It's a great cause. Wish the federal government would fund the puvlic hospitals better.
Was great when a few years ago, the Good Friday Appeal started showing and talking about the children's Mental Health ward. Instead of purely focusing on the babies - there was a bit more emphasis on teens.

Thanks for your message @Owlunar. The after effects of this concussion are certainly sticking around - doesn't help being combined with the high blood pressure, depression/anxiety and still adjusting to the meds. It all combined makes me feel terrible - but I know I just have to wait it out and try and push through the best I can for now.

@utopiaI know it is hard to 'feel' anyone with you when you feel so low yourself - I totally get that - but I will continue to stand beside you, worry about you, love you and be around for you (when I can) even if you can't feel it.... always ...my beautiful cocky friend...
