Life lessons @Faith-and-Hope sometimes take a large part of your life to learn so it is great that your persistence and patience has taught your kids that it is better to get organised early rather than be constantly running late for everything.
I even have a bag organised for when I take Toby out - it has everything I may need including his towel for the beach lol
@Shaz51 I am sure youo did a great job as a step mum - you are such a kind and caring person that those kids are lucky to have you in their lives

Today is going to be hard @Faith-and-Hope I really don't like the class teacher that I will be observing but they are the kids that I will have on Friday so I need to try to get to know them quickly today, The principal finally sent the notes through late last night but I am not going to read them until after today - not running on her timetable unless I have to - and definitely not caring about it either 
I will definitely be holding that necklace tight today and knowing you and others are with me Hon
