Well that was quite bizarre .... in a good way, but still .....
So here I am, sitting in the coffee shop finger knitting and chatting with you @Zoe7, and a lady comes up and asks me asbout the finger knitting .... so I show her how it’s done, and sh loves it. She is now inspired to try it out and has gone in search of a ball of wool ..... but before she goes she asks if I am a reader, and when I say that I am, she asks me if she can giv me a boom to read, then pass on to a stranger, because that is what the book was bought for by a friend of hers .....
So here I am with a new book to read, and having had a lovely chat with someone in a random, heart-warming encounter ......
And in looking up the finger knitting link I cane across this -

And I forgot to mention that the new friend I made for the city historical walks apparently paid for my breakfast yesterday morning ..... that was what I was told when I went to pay .....
