Just wanted to pop in to say thank you to @Faith-and-Hope for that cat picture that you posted in here yesterday. I saw it this morning, and it reminds me so much like my old cat (I know there are lots of cats that look like that, but still... Mind if I borrow one of those buckets?)

S2 and D3 stayed for half the event .... not ideal, but it's something, considering our situation. I am going to be grateful for that much. Hopefully we will be in a better place next year and can do more.

Hi Hon  How was your night out @Faith-and-Hope?

It was good enough, considering our current circumstances @Zoe7 .... we had a by of family connection out of it, but until we get WH sorted, then the kids and our family dynamic sorted after that, it's not going to get better.

The couples counselling is my next step forward, and I have to trust it's going to be okay, and there will be a way to reach into our situation that I can't see at the moment.  My mind wants to run to all the worst case scenarios, and I am sitting on myself at the moment, trying not to go there,

Oh Hon I can only imagine how hard this is for you  You want so much to 'keep' your family together but at every turn it seems to be pulling further and further apart. I know you are strong but having to deal with all this is definitely taking it's toll - I can 'see' that and I hate that you are silently suffering under the weight of your situation. It is so easy for others to say it will be okay - but we both know the reality is that it may not be @Faith-and-Hope and I am sure that is in the back of your mind and something you are struggling to keep there for now. I do hope that it will all turn out in a positive light for you and your family and that you can all begin to heal and repair the strained relationships that presently exist. Whatever the path may be, and how ever it begins to 'unravel', I will be sticking very closely by your side - holding you up when you feel you cannot stand and shining a light for you to be able to see when the darkness descends.
