Re: A new start (kind of)
You are a good sport. Even better forumite friend. 🙂
My anxiety is still around. I'm okay after my start up meeting. Heading back for dinner now and then bed.
Idk if my boss is annoyed or not. I'm. More worried about it going on some record... Idk.
Speculation doesn't help

@Ant7 @Adge @Former-Member @Owlunar @Queenie @utopia
Well im nearly home. My anxiety is at a high
Possibly because of the days events. I feel like i am just griping and moaning. But I am genuinely uneasy about it. I fear that I have something to upset a higher ranked employee who has made it hard for me.

Re: A new start (kind of)
I am sure that is not the case @MDT and it is simply the new kid on the block having to start at the bottom. That totally sucks and does not help how you feel but look at it as knowing more areas and gaining more experience in a number of aspects of the job. That can only be a positive in moving forward and having a more permanent role in one are down the track. Unfortunately it is often the case when we start out in a new job that we have to start at the bottom - that does not mean that you are not capable or valued - it just is what it is to begin with. No doubt that is making you feel like you do not know your place in this job but that will come. Go easy on yourself - it is hard starting a new job and takes time to find your feet.

Re: A new start (kind of)
None of us get paid enough to worry after hours. That's so true.
Yeah @Zoe7 even in the smallest way. Celebrate the small wins. Tomorrow itself is okay. It's just the associated crap around it I think. The yin and the yang.
I guess I have achieved much already. This time tomorrow I might be better.
Mum reckons I will. But if need be email them.
Conpared to lots of other government in competencies I guess it's small by comparison.
