Morning @Clawde 🙋♀️
I'm glad that you took some time yesterday morning to watch the sunrise, and gather your thoughts around all the drama's that took place last week. I do hope it was healing for you, or at least enabled you to work out what's important to you, and what you can let go. Bridges are difficult structures to build, and even more so to rebuild once broken. I wish you every success, if thats what you decide is best for you to do.
I'm glad that you've found words of wisdom on many threads here on the Forums. I do too Clawde, and I also read a lot of different threads. Some I comment on, and others I dont because I dont feel I have anything constructive to add to the conversation. But like you, I do like to hit the support button when I am reading through. So I'm grateful that you do that here too.
If you are able to find wisdom or answers to some of your personal issues here on my thread, then I am very pleased to know that. Yes I think I understand what you are saying about searching for answers to a question you are as yet unsure of. Sometimes I think its a case of the answer presenting itself, prior to the question being asked, or even before we know that we have a question. Now ... does that make any sense I wonder? 🤣
Yes dear @Clawde ... this Forum is my safe place too. I am very grateful for the privilege of being a member here, and to the managers and moderators who ensure its a safe place for all of us to come to. But I'm especially grateful to all the lovely members here who make it the kind supportive understanding place that it is. I'm very glad that you are a part of it all Clawde.

Just trying to catch up on some replies to posts from a few days ago, that I have been slow to reply to. Sorry.
@Owlunar ... Yes it is definitely taking time. It seems that just when recovery from surgery is happening, then I had a torn rotator cuff tendon, then radiotherapy. Just no chance to get over one thing before the next thing comes along.
It sounds like your daughter's recovery is taking time, but it was very major surgery after all. There should be no pushing things to get back to normal any soon then she's well and truly ready. I am sorry that she was unable to come to your place for her birthday on Saturday, disappointing for you and no doubt her as well. Her gift ... is YOU Dec. She is a lucky daugher.
I'm sorry also that your shoulder continues to present major challenges both to pain levels and ability issues. Glad your next treatment is getting ever closer. I was sorry to hear in todays news that your VIC premier had a nasty fall this morning and is in ICU in hospital with broken ribs and damaged vertebrae after slipping down wet stairs early this morning. Poor Mr Andrews ... he is a big gangly sort of fellow, and I expect he would have fallen heavily. I do hope he is okay, and I wish him well.
Ha ha ... what a sweet story about your son and there being no street parade when he took a day off school and ran off to the city. 😊💖
Love the owl pics .. as always. 🦉
@Zoe7 ... thank you so much for the pic you posted 2 days ago. The same can very easily apply to you Zoe. 💓
Its very true of course ... we really have no choice in the matter. But at the time .. it definitely does not feel like strength. I imagine you would be needing all of your considerable strength right now to overcome all your current hurdles. Wishing you all the best with any upcoming tests, procedures and appointments.
@Former-Member ... I love the Brisbane sea of pink ... so show that those with breast cancer are not alone. That was really thoughtful of you to think of me when you saw the photo and to post it here. You always have been a very thoughtful and kind soul. Thank you. I havent yet come to see myself as a survivor though. Perhaps that will come in time. Things are still too close, still too many ongoing pains and side effects, still too many appointments .. to see myself as having survived. I'm not sure really when that transition comes about. It will be interesting to monitor those feelings in myself as time goes on. Perhaps I am already a survivor because the cancer was discovered and surgically removed? Time will tell I suppose. 🙏💓 How did your exercise class go today?
My dear friend @Anastasia .. thank you so much for all the lovely pictures and posts you have been posting here every day lately. I have to admit that I find myself thinking every day ... now what will @Anastasia have for me today? 💞
@Eve7 @Clawde @Former-Member @Lee82 @Bow @WIP @Peri @Snowie @outlander ... thanks for your messages and supports. 😊💕🙏
I had my Pilates class again this morning and it went well. That was my 4th class today.
Tomorrow morning I have an appointment with a special bra 'fitter' who specialises in fitting women who have had mastectomies or partial mastectomies ( otherwise known as a lumpectomy). I am to get a proper fitting for a bra that fits and is comfortable. And also to get measured for a specially made bra insert or semi prothesis. I'm a bit excited about this, because I hate being lopsided and hate stuffing things in one side to make it look like I'm even. And none of my existing bras are comfortable, they all hurt along scar tissue or lymph nodes. And I'm still really sore after radiation, which doesnt seem to be resolving. Hoping I can get something to help with all that.
We had a big storm here yesterday afternoon .. right on 5pm. We had 26mms in under half an hour and then another more than 24mms in the following hour. So it was 51mms all up over just under an hour and a half. So much water everywhere. I thought it would never stop. Roof gutters just could not cope and water was gushing down everywhere, including inside. And our garage had a lake inside too, as wind drove the rain under our roller door. Lots of excitement. We had some rumbling around this afternoon again too .. but thankfully no rain here today. Today the storm cells were small and more scattered.
I'm still not overly talkative, so my apologies for not responding sooner. I am getting 3 or 4 hours of interruptedd sleep now, for the past few nights. So thats an improvement. I hope that continues to build up a bit. It would be nice to not feel so fatigued all the time. But perhaps while I'm on these toxic little cancer pills .. thats just going to be par for the course. Heavy fatigue is a side effect of both the radiation and the little cancer pills. I guess I better just learn to live with it.
