Thanks @Snowie @Eve7 🌺😊
Hi there @Former-Member 💓 love the pic .. one hour one day at a time. I CAN do it. Glad you are enjoying lovely weather. The Great Outdoors episode you are watching sounds very interesting. I watch that show sometimes too. I love watching a lot of the travelling shows and also some of the foodie shows that travel. Did you have your arvo kip? I did too.
Thank you dear @Anastasia for the reminders of some soothing activities. When our minds get themselves in a tangle, it can get hard to think straight. So even simple things can be difficult to remember, or slip our mind when we need them. On your list is "colour or draw". I consider that diamond painting is within that category. I got out my DP kit today and unpacked it on the dining table. We only use it when we have guests, and are not eating out on our deck. So I can leave it there undisturbed for long periods of time, without having to pack it up all the time. We dont do much formal entertaining these days. Much to my relief, but hubbys annoyance. No start on the DP just yet, but its there ready now. When the urge next takes me, I will be there. 🌺
Oh, you have been industrious Myboy. No rest for some aye? Its been very wet here all day ... light showers all morning and turned to heavy rain this afternoon. The webbed feet are sprouting. 🦆 We have had over an inch of rain each of the last 4 days now. Most of this rain is coastal. The big race meeting due for our local track had to be relocated to another track further inland. Shame for the locals, but it would have been abandoned if they hadnt shifted it.
Not sure what weather your boys are getting today, but if they are anywhere along the NSW coast, its likely they have had at least some rain, and likely heavy at times. If they are driving home, I hope they take particular care on possibly wet roads. Have you heard yet, as to whether they will be home in time for dinner?
What are you doing for dinner tonight btw? I'm doing corned beef and veges. Tomorrow is likely to be quite hot, around 30C, but still wet. So it will be left over corned beef and salad for dinner tomorrow. Got the week planned out.
I hope everyone is having a half decent day. Did I tell you that my radiation affected skin is improving nicely now? I noticed this morning when I looked it was much less red than its been for weeks. And it isnt as itchy or prickly as it was either. Looking good. Just have to get the general breast soreness and inflamation better now, and I will be happy.
Gosh that reminds me something I heard on the car radio a few days ago. The PC brigade are at it again. Apparently people are not allowed to say 'breast feeding' any more. Its got to be 'chest feeding'. OMG 😂 I guess that means I have chest cancer now? And all the breast cancer charities and awareness groups will need to change their names. Breastcare nurses will have to be known as Chestcare nurses. How silly is that? Just thought I'd deliver a bit of ridiculousness to my post.
Emelia 🤗💞
