Oh wow, look at those beautiful Kangaroos.
Thanks for the pic @Anastasia
Sounds like you are having a blissful time - and its
only the 1st day, you've got many more ahead of you to enjoy.
Im sure your boy will settle down soon and understand that you're away only for a short time. He's only a phone call away to check in on.
Keep enjoying yourself @Anastasia , you deserve it!!

No @Peri ... It wasnt, not at all. I found your post informative and helpful. And appreciated it very much. 😄💖
How are you this evening? Are you affected by the lockdown?

Thank you for that @Emelia8 , I appreciate it.
i am ok thanks. Yes at home locked down. An amazing over reaction in my view, but I am used to the country and how it is dealing with it. I am just watching some tv and sitting quietly. I made ice cream and meringues today. Both nice . But I burnt the biscuits
i hope your week goes peacefully emelia8 all love to you

I agree with you @Peri that it seems like an over reaction for one case of COVID. But that one case has the potential to be much worse. Hopefully that doesnt happen though, and after this snap 5 day lockdown in WA, life can return to normal again.
I see there are some bad bushfires north east of Perth. Its in an area that my father in law used to live when I first married my husband. It was my first introduction to WA way back in 1997.
Yummy icecream and meringues. Is your grand daughter still with you? I'll bet she would have lived that. Sorry about the burnt biscuits though. Any chance of crushing them and making a base for a cheesecake or biscuit slice?
I hope your day is a good one Peri. Have you made any enquiries about getting back into work on a part time basis?
Emelia 😊🌷🌻💖

Yes @Anastasia second last day coming up today for my radiation. 👍 Im sure today will go fine. Its a 10am session today, and no extra apts after. So straight home afterwards. I see a radiation nurse after my final session tomorrow.
Yes the cream is great, but its over half gone already. At least after my final session tomorrow, life can fall back into some semblance of normality again. No more daily travelling, or nights away from home. So I will be able to track down some more of this special cream from local chemists who stock it.
Glad to read elsewhere that you have spoken to your Boy a couple of times, and that he sounds okay. And that is confirmed by your other son. I hope that enables to to relax a little, and enjoy your time away.
Your view from the spa bath is so restful looking. Overlooking a vineyard with native kangaroos grazing. I note you are having a 9am breakfast. Champagne breakfast in the spa perhaps?
I hope your parents enjoy their time away as well, and your Dad is feeling as well as possible.
Any wine tasting on your schedule of things to do?
Sounds like you had a storm there last night. We are expecting rain here today I think. Its been a wide band of rain activity, so pretty widespread. My dad said they had lots of rain out on my brothers farm too. Hope the weather does not interfere with any of your holiday plans. Did you bring a book?
Sending much love and a big hug to you my friend.
Emelia 😀💕

No spa this morning Em, breakfast in the restaurant with Mum and Dad to work out the itinerary for the day. Definitely think wine tasting is in order 🍷 Rain has stopped and once clouds lift I imagine it will be hot so perhaps an afternoon swim and a soak in the outdoor spa is in order. Waiting for bf to get dressed to head to brekkie. There with you in spirit, love you more @Emelia8 💖💞💕💐🌻🙏🌷
