Re: Battles

@rav3n i figure if I don't laugh about my crappy situations, I'll cry.

Guess we will have to wait and see 😊.

Thanks for chatting to me, it's really helped to at least stay in the present moment. I hope you have a good night and look forward to chatting tomorrow. Night night ❤️

Re: Battles

@Dreamy

Since I had to get up early this morning, i was a good boy and went to bed early last night.  I still couldn't get to sleep until about 1am!  I have to be up a bit earlier tomorrow morning, but I only have to go to Marion rather than the city.  I have my adoptee counseling appointment tomorrow.  But no point going to bed early, so I'm just sitting here on the PC playing a game until I think there's a reasonable chance of falling asleep when I do.  I had a night not long ago where I got no sleep at all due to stress.  It took me 2 days to get over it.  It just messes with your whole system when you can't sleep at all.  So i hope you can manage to get some sleep tonight, even if it's only a little bit.

Re: Battles

@MJG017 it's good that you went to bed early even if you couldn't sleep, you at least rested. I hate not being able to sleep, even though I'm so tired if I close my eyes my brain just starts overthinking everything. Hope the appointment goes ok though and that it helps you. That was me on Thursday night, i got no sleep cos I was so stressed out about the situation the was happening. It really messes with your body. I've been getting between 2-4 hours a night lately which is really not enough but it's something I guess. You know I'm around to chat if you want to 😊.

Re: Battles

@Dreamy

I know what it's like when your mind just wont stop worrying and it stops any sleep.  You just worry more and more and it just makes you less and less sleepy.  It's bad enough when it happens once in a while, but to have it happen regularly, even with a bit of sleep must be so incredibly exhausting!

Re: Battles

@MJG017 it's just a vicious cycle. I napped for about 20 minutes today after only getting 3 hours sleep last night but now I feel wide awake. Like my body is exhausted but my brain isn't. Unfortunately I'm heading towards having a seizure cos it's all too much for my body. And tomorrow I have things happening so I need to be at least somewhat functional for that.

The things tomorrow aren't something you can cancel, or put off?  It just plain sucks that things have to be so hard for you and that nothing seems to help.  Just be careful if you think a seizure is coming on, the last thing you need is to whack your head!

Re: Battles

@MJG017 unfortunately not. The person from mission Australia said they would ring me today and they didn't so I have to chase that up again. And I have to try and sort something else out cos a certain person is making my life a living hell and it's causing massive stress on others aswell. I should be safe from hitting my head hopefully, trying to just not move unless I absolutely have to.

@Dreamy

Jeez, can anyone keep a promise to call these days!?  I hope you get is sorted though, and something can be done about this person.  I'll keep some fingers crossed for you that you have some success.

Re: Battles

@MJG017 i even have it in writing that they said they were going to call today. I rang and left a message a couple of weeks ago and then sent an email to follow up cos I didn't hear back. Can't even get the ndis stuff submitted without something going wrong. This other situation that i need to try and get sorted is going to completely break me yet again, it's so stressful and very emotionally draining. Yes please keep those fingers crossed, just a little bit of a win would be great right now.

Re: Battles

@Dreamy

I'll keep some toes crossed as well then.  I have no idea how i'll do it, but i'll find a way.  It's clear how hard all of this is on you, exactly how hard i figure it's something only you know, but hard enough.  If anyone can get through it though, it will be you.
