Who's got there tactics ready for the approaching festivities?
I almost got my Christmas wish, a safe home, as mum husband was asked to leave a month ago yet somehow the trajectory has changed and he is back. Additionally I have tried to voice my request to change my room to spare to help me safe as possible in an environment I can't control and I have been denied. I have been told I owe him a chance after everything and that it's the "Christian" thing to do :face_with_rolling_eyes:
basically I've come to terms with the fact my voice is not heard here and I am about to get even familiar with my very small room as I refuse to be forced in situations I am not ready for. Christmas has always been huge for me and I've done absolutely nothing yet but somehow my peace is more important this year as I've already lost so much this year another thing, isn't the be all.
So this is my list, what's yours?

Hey @Judymay !
So great to hear from you! I was getting a little concerned as I hadn't heard how you've been going.
Good on you for focusing on that which is within your control as opposed to what you can't control. As hard as it sounds, you are such an inspiration.
I myself don't have a survival list.... it's just taking a day at a time.
Look forward to reading other members' lists too!

Look life has been a total piece of horse excrement haha but we trying hey
I did think of the notion of hope as I don't really like when people throw unrealistic expectations out their because you can't assure that and someone who needs to prepare for whatever I don't go that high in expectation however I am aware that I have hope in a different form as I still fight, my mind still constantly tries to find a solution to get through whatever I am so although I'm not shooting fairy dust, I am doing my best to continue in my capacity and that is enough😊

This list is such a good idea, @Judymay. I'm typically such a lurker, but I absolutely had to reply to this.

Thanks @Judymay. Did you intentionally take a photo of that exact moment in the Grinch? 🤣
The Grinch is probably my favourite Chrismas movie. I also think Elf is hilarious.
Writing it down for me doesn't always ensure I actually follow it BUT now that I've posted it on here, I think I'll definitely stick to it.

Hello @tyme
thanks for checking in. Will either go two ways from today as mums husband comes back and I have Covid :face_with_rolling_eyes: my body just wanted to make sure it got one last virus in but here is my view this morning as I write my next set of affirmation cards.
I'll either be full speed ahead with anxiety or withdrawn and dissociative. We will see 🥳
