So pleased to read this 🙂
Are you taking shifts throughout the night, alternating with your Mum? (From what @Emelia8 said)
Are there support palliative carers also coming in? I hope so...
I hope you managed to get some sleep last night. I wonder if you're also trying to work from your parents' place...seems so much on your plate, my dear friend. 😞
I had an early GP appt this morning so am on the forums much later than usual. All OK.
Thinking of you throughout the day, and your Dad and family of course.
Much 💚

Hello @NatureLover @BlueBay @Emelia8 @pancakes @Appleblossom @Eve7 @Bow @Shaz51 @HenryX everyone...
Thank you for popping in, it means a lot x
Last night mum woke me to help, tonight and from here on I'll share mums bed.
She is deaf so I'll hear Dad.
I didn't sleep due to listening out with one eye and ear open down the other end of their home. Me being in their room means I will hopefully get some tonight.
We have two hours of help daily. Two nurses for medications and a carer to assist with washes.
Very grateful.
My Dad is so grateful and loving, I just hold his hand and attend to his needs it's no trouble and I'm treasuring every second.
I love that I can finally help and they are so grateful.
Yes I'm working NL, logging on and dealing with urgents. My boss understands and is grateful I'm doing what I can when I can without any time or expectations from him.
Love and well wishes to you all. I miss you and hope you're all ok x
🙏💙

Hi @Anastasia , I'm glad you have the daily nurses to help. And so glad that your Dad is home surrounded by family where he wants to be.

Am so glad your boss is understanding at the moment!
Is your brother still around or did he have to go home?
I really hope you can get some sleep tonight and am sending wishes for that, plus many other things, mostly that your Dad doesn't suffer. 💔
Much 💚
