Re: Self care- walking and cycling
I was planning a 100+ km bike ride this weekend but it is now looking like rain so will be the indoor trainer.
Cycling for me has been the best self care strategy that I have found with physical and mental health benefits. Even better that darling and I do it together.

Most requite an hour or more drive to get to.

Re: Self care- walking and cycling
We have lots of walking paths close by where we are now, just not bush walks where it is an exploration with the camera at the ready.
Since moving into town we walk heaps more due to convenience. Where we were it was all narrow rural roads. Lost a dog that was clipped while on a lead while out walking is how dodgy the walking was where we were. Too narrow and traffic far too fast for the road conditions.

Re: Self care- walking and cycling
@Oaktree started out using the Samsung health app (comes on Samsung phones)
Now I am using the garmin connect app as I have a garmin fitness watch. That seems to be more accurate. (Except when pushing a pramb or similar I discovered. You need to be swinging your arms)

Re: Self care- walking and cycling
I believe Nike may do a free phone app.
A work colleague was using something like that.
