Re: Self care by growing a garden

Each to their own @Shaz51  but not my cup of tea.

@Mellysmellyelly

Come and meet some other gardeners in this social gardening discussion thread. We have been talking about gnomes in the garden, plenty of talk about kitchen and ornamental gardens too.

Gnome with his cup of tea... couldn't resist the implied invitation @Former-Member 😛

@Smc @Former-Member @Shaz51 @Adge and other gardeners .. I picked and ate the first tomato from my own garden tonight !!!!!

Incredibly sweet and tasty - I was thrilled 😁

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Very nice @Sophie1 Sweet too...

I have Carob Pods (Soft & sweet) on my Carob tree - For the 1st time in 15 years.

4 to 5 metres up in the air.

I've not climbed up to try to get them.

I'm hoping they may fall off at some stage...

Home grown tomatoes 🍅 = yum @Sophie1

Hope you can find a way to harvest your carob @Adge - can you eat it direct off the tree?

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Thank you Darcy. Love that gnome😊 Half our neighbour's cherryplums hang over our side of fence. Bountiful crop this year. 13 jars of preserves so far!

Caught up with friend at garden centre cafe, post coffee browse resulted in purchase of two plants, both on 1/2 price stand.
