All good here, I must have finally dozed off. No problems just was not sleeping and looking for someone to chat to.

Unfortunately, there is such an enormous stigma over mental illness and its impact. If your son had a broken leg @Determined, his mates would be rallying around carrying his bag for him. Because mental trauma is something we can't see, it's assumed it isn't real. That it's all in your head as the saying goes. Big sigh

Glad to hear you got some shuteye @Determined. I struggled so am soooo exhausted today 😒. It must be tough with what you are going through right now my friend. Missing your darling. Also it isn't great when S2's teacher isn't empathetic at all and disappoints you. MI is hidden physically that people think it isn't real and so aren't empathetic to the person suffering or the loved ones caring for them. What people don't realise is that it is something that is there forever and not one where you snap out like that. It's something you learn to manage. Do hope on time more and more people become aware because that's the only way and shift to people's mindsets. Big hugs my friend. Hear for you....even though half asleep at the moment
