I seem to have a headache, sore throat, tight chest, aching and tired , unless i am coming down with something else

Yay for being able to get some rest this afternoon..it sounds like thats just what the doctor ordered! Given the time of year, it sounds like the flu is a reasonable thing to assume. See how you go over the coming days. Do you have a lot on workwise for the rest of the week?

Yuk @Shaz51. Hope you're feeling better soon.

How am I today... generally not too bad, but a bit on edge about my Mum. She has lymphedema and gets related infections way too often. As far as I can tell without actually being there, the aged care home she's in and her doctor are doing all the right things, but I'm concerned. Every time there's another infection it weakens her lymphatic system even more. And she's pretty down about being stuck in her room. 

And younger son's moving out of home this weekend. I'll miss him, and it's coming up fast. I'm not going to be clingy about it, because it will be good for him (and I moved out at about the same age). He's not going too far away, but he won't be a regular face at our dinnertable any more... it'll be weird being a three person household. Used to be six. For a while it was nine when we had a friend and her daughters as boarders. Nine people and one bathroom... that was an interesting stage.

Oh thank you @Shaz51, time for a change and I love the desert. That is very true about outside work, must be hard on those cold rainy days to get out there and get your work done, lots of hot chocolate breaks are needed

as long as it is not too many wet days @Former-Member, or hubby goes out of his mind , get axious, worried , on edge ect
