Decided to bin this comment as it was not in keeping with the thread title lol.
Supposed to be focusing on the positives... 😉

Oopsie @Determined, We all have to have a bit of a rant sometimes. Liking this positivity thing you have going.

That one was more thinking out loud than a rant @soul , about somthing I used to enjoy and why it now seems all to hard . All good 😆.

Positive for today
My darling continues to be happy and reasonably well adjusted. (Relatively speaking).
I am enjoying the smiles and there is a `spark' in her eyes that has not been there for a long time.
We have even had some boundary related discussions that have gone better than expected.
I have no illusions that we still have a long road to full recovery (if that is even possible) in front of us however I am grateful for the reprieve while it lasts 🙂
Something that made me laugh
The excitement bub showed and his little song and dance when darling arrived home from school with his brothers.

Sounds like you have had a really nice day @Determined. Hope there are many more like that to come. How is the study coming along?

Big zippo on the study today unfortunately @soul, have a lot of catching up to do tomorrow and over the weekend. Feeling washed out and achy at the moment. Hanging on for another week and after my last exam.
Had a peadiatric appointment for bub this morning. Will require monitoring into the future in a couple of areas but mostly a positive visit. Bub happy as always.

So it was a rest day from study @Determined. Put your notes under your pillow and you will absorb them as you sleep. True story!!
I remember in high school recording some quotes and playing them whilst I slept thinking my subconscious mind would take it all in.
Take care of yourself - washed out and achy doesn't sound good.
Good news for Bub's check up.
I need to create something to look forward to. Nothing much on the calendar at the moment.

That is a huge positive @Former-Member
She has even modified some of her desired activities for the weekend in order to help me be able to focus on studies. I am most grateful for the increased awareness and support. 🙂
