Positive for today..
Had a good talk to my mum tonight, seems she is over her sulks with me. That's a relief because I don't do conflict very well.
Spoke to darlings mum also and they are hoping to be home this time next week. I thought they were going to be gone for much longer than that so again a big relief to have their help again.

No complaints @Former-Member, focusing on the positives no matter how elusive they may seem. Counting down for the end of semester and some me time.
+'s = House sitting crisis averted (for now) and in-laws expected back on the weekend. (I was expecting them to be gone for another week or more). Will be nice to have the extra help with the little people again.

Positive for today
Yseterdays little shower of rain produced over 70mm in under 2 hours resulting in one of our tanks flowing over and our big tank at about 60% 😆
Big tank should have a lot more but the sieve was silted up from the pipes being flushed out 😐 either way we are well and truly off water restrictions in the determined house. If forecast is correct big tank should be full by end of next week which gives us ~ 6 months supply with minimal rain.

Thanks @Former-Member
No news on the school front.
Reluctant to make a pest of myself and start calling and asking questions but I may need to. If only to get a date for a decision either way.

Good news about the water @Determined. I take these things for granted living in the city.
Hope you and the family enjoy the weekend. No current crisis or just not ones you're telling us about??
