I am usually hesitant to say out loud when things seem to be going ok. as they can turn so quickly 😞 but choosing to (try at least) to remain positive and have faith that things can and will be better.

Positive for today....
(I must admit I am struggling in some ways to see this as a positive just now but it is a positive)
My darling and I recieved and update on our application for S1 to attend special school when he transitions to high school next year. Aparently he has met all requirements for enrollment and the school is only waiting on some bureaucratic box ticking from some nob further up the tree to be able to confirm our enrolment.
This will be the best school for him in every respect so we are relieved that we are one step closer and should have formal notification within 2 weeks, I am just at the moment having a hard time accepting that it is the most suitable option. (I am a lot more accepting than I was 6 months ago though so moving forward).

The biggest positive out of todays discussions is that it has taken a huge load of anxiety off my my darling. And you can see it in in her countenance. It is like a huge weight is lifted off her shoulders.

Positive for today. only a small gesture but a BIG positive in the determined house 🙂
I am hiding at the Uni today with the hope of getting some more work done, (so far unsuccessful), but had my darling unexpectedly drop by earlier with some lunch for me. It is such a relief to see her looking happier.

Positive for today,
I managed some self care by way of a counseling appointment for myself. First appointment in a couple of months due to balancing everything else going on and not taking any time out for myself.
I made the appointment over 2 weeks ago thinking I would be finished all of my assessment by now and left this morning thinking I really could not afford the time out as I am still working on this assessment. As it turns out it was well worth the time and I'm glad I didn't cancel.
