Good afternoon @cloudcore
To participate, here are 3 questions for your daily check in:
1) How are you feeling? --- I amm feeling like a 3 today , think I may have a bit of carer`s fatigue
You can use a scale of 1-10 (1= really bad , 10= really good), if you would like to.
2) What is one thing you have struggled with, --- struggling a bit with trying to be calm all the time
and one thing you have done well? ---- have done a few things that needed to be done
3) What is one nice thing you can do for yourself today?---- having the afternoon off and a nice big cup of coffee in the aircon
how about you @Determined , @Former-Member , @tyme , @Krishna , @Former-Member , @Chameleon1 , @Tinker67 , @Ella21 , @Anastasia , @greenpea , @Appleblossom , @Clawde , @DTrain , @Sunrise9 , @outlander , @LOVELUKE , @Former-Member , @Tyrone , @Jaxta , @Nashagirl75 , @Scoo , @Carlo , @timtam00 , @Frankly2 , @Trifle79 , @TideisTurning , @Jynx

Thanks for tag @Shaz51
Welcome @Chameleon1
I used to be a bit of a chameleon.
I had a difficult gp session today, but managed it well.
Recovering at home.
Feelings a little triggered and all over the place from things raised in discussion with gp.
Nothing else planned for today ... study later maybe ... if I am up for it.

@Shaz51 About a 4 today. Emotional. Struggling with news from support worker regarding my girls deterioration with her mental health. Compassion fatigue. Had a couch day but did manage to cook a nice meal followed by a long hot shower. Early night for me.

Hi @Chameleon1 Mornings are when my anxiety strikes also. As soon as I wake up. Apparently our cortisol hormone levels are at their peak in the mornings, helps us to wake up so remembering this helps calm me a little. That and a calming walk. Love walking on the beach but is an hours drive for me. If it’s good weather I’ll make the effort and have a float as well while I’m there.

I enjoy the beach, reading, gardening and interacting with my dog. I also go to a progressive Christian church where I am on the committee. The people there are really nice and the environment encourages me to develop spiritually

@Shaz51 @Chameleon1 Floating in a calm ocean is my greatest joy on par with my garden. Also love reading, crotcheting, practicing mindfulness and studying Zen Buddhism.
