Bipolar Husband

Re: Bipolar Husband

Hi @Bel5 , you and your children do not deserve to be treated like this regardless of if your husband has a mental health condition!!!!

Re: Bipolar Husband

Thankyou for your insights, we have been married 44 yrs and my husband has been diagnosed with GAD and Bipolar II. I can relate to not reacting but walking away. Sometimes when I think we are having a rational discussion I get caught off guard and have to leave the house.

I made the mistake of telling him that when he is hypomanic he shows some narcissistic traits as way of explaining our frequent arguments and since then he has labelled  me a narcissist.

Thankfully he has agreed to seek professional help together but only because he thinks I need it (being a narcissist ).
