Yes @Former-Member: ..... Can we please change the colours in the background and 'highlight' colour in the notification page. I have vision problems and I don't find the colour contrast is sufficient between new and old posts.
Totally agree. I don't have vision problems and I have trouble with this.

Morning everyone ..... 👋 💐
Looks like three issues have come tumbling out here ......
”To edit or not to edit” ..... (well pu @Former-Member) .....
Sensitivity to triggers and awareness and respect concerning that ....
The colour contrast in some of the pages for some people .....
With this last one, I believe the page colours, and perhaps features of layou, differ according to the service to are connected to Sane through. The colours on my page are, for instance, lime and peppermint green, and purple. The text colours are a sky blue and charcoal grey. I am sure admin will let us (or perhaps individuals) know how much can be altered regarding colour contrasts.
Well ..... there’s a project already set for the new year .....I hope everyone can find a moment of relaxation ..... whatever that means to you ...... and a moment of joy .... whatever that means to you also ...... in this new day, the first one, of 2018.

@Former-Member, I too got all those notifications about your New Years post yesterday. And I read your subsequent post about a computer glitch. It really wasnt a problem to me. When I get the occasional duplicate notification as a result of editing, I just delete all my earlier notifications and go to the latest, realising that its likely someone forgot to add a tag or some such thing. No big deal. By the way, I loved your fireworks pics, and it was kinda nice getting repeat doses of them.
I too make edits to my posts sometimes. Often in order to add an additional recipient I forgot first time around, other times to correct typos I may have made. For me its very important to be able to edit and I hope that facility is not scrapped. My OCD will not permit me to accept blatant errors and it would bother me greatly if I were not able to make the occasional correction.

Thank you @Former-Member and ditto to everything you said. And looking back over this thread most here have expressed the same; the majority have voted to keep the edit button as it is important to them for various reasons and want to keep using it - also that the repeat notification of re-editing may have been a little annoying, was no big deal for them also.
You cracked me up 😂 I am glad my computer clitch fireworks display sparked (no pun intended ) some New Year cheer
Have a very relaxing New Year's Day ❤️
