Kids have such virulent bugs and gastro - rotten - and it has gone through your household with nearly everyone going down like nine-pins - bingo - not fun.
You can tell it's a bug when people get sick one after another - something you ate gets everyone at the same time - it seems like a 24 hour unpleasant thing - I hope people are recovering now and you are okay - you have enough health issues without adding one
And it seems A picked it up from her Dad's place - I was particularly sorry to read this
I was pretty raw when I read you were at the local ED for about 2 hours and it was crowded and yet no one was called in - understaffed - that is pretty disappointing. I guess the tourists get sick too - I don't blame them though - I am often a tourist but I do tend to travel off season -
Still - there have been times when I have just got up and walked out - and I thought - ah - the nurse gave A a tablet when you were leaving and some frozen sticks to suck - I wonder - really wonder - why she couldn't have given those when you turned up and you could have just gone home - which makes perfect sense to me
I am glad you appreciated my post - I don't normally want to write so much about myself on someone else's thread but on this occasion I thought that giving you some insight into my story might be in order because I did claw my way through life for years and I know what a battle it is and how it seems it can never end - but it does because life-circumstances do and you get older - which is a good thing. We learn with age - you are gaining a lof of life-information through all of this
So many people don't understand BPD - I certainly didn't - it has taken time and searching to learn - and also reading what you have written. There is no need to think yourself wrong for sharing your story as you do - you are spreading the word to other people - and this is a wonderful think and you have a wonderful gift in being able to write as you do
I am glad you are applying for jobs even though your health isn't good and there isn't a lot around where you live - a hospital pharmacy position would be perfect for you.
Just remember you don't need confidence to start - and I am glad to hear you are trying to live one day at a time - and what a bugger - a bug in your family's stomachs straight away. That''s life - alas
