Hi Sane,
How are you? I'm struggling with my mental health and living with my mum who has short and long term memory loss. I went to Urgent Mental Health Care Center yesterday evening and I had loss of bladder on my car seat and now I so embarrassed to take anyone anywhere in my car. I need some advice how to clean the seat and get rid of the smell. Please help me

Hey @Flossie78 ,
Sorry to hear this. I wonder if the smell will eventually go? Or are there beads to absorb liquid you can put on the seats?
Sorry, I really don't know but I hear how embarrassed you feel.
Please be kind to yourself. I can vaguely relate when I had a UTI and many times, I couldn't make it to the toilet. I had urine running down my legs!
Hugs to you @Flossie78

G'day @Flossie78
Yeah who can say we haven't been there for whatever reason, I remember doing the same thing plus vomiting in my best mates car as a 19 year old after drinking way too much.
Two good solutions:
1. Rent a carpet shampooer from Coles or Woolies, works great and will get right down into the seat.
2. Get a spanner or socket, usually 10mm or 12mm, undo the four bolts holding your seat to the floor of your car, take the seat out put it on an outside surface and just get the hose into it with abit of shampoo or bodywash, then leave outside to dry. Search youtube to see how to remove a drivers seat if you are unsure, but it's literally only four bolts, so you should be fine!
God bless!
